VOLUNTEER

Small Acts. Big Impact.

Every donated soccer ball, basketball, baseball glove, and pair of cleats tells a story. Behind every donation is a volunteer who chose to make a difference. Whether you can volunteer for one event or become a regular member of your local Donation Chapter, your time helps children stay in the game.

Join us in building stronger communities—one piece of sports equipment at a time.

Adult Volunteers

The Locker League proudly supports students who volunteer as part of their school’s community service programs.

Volunteer opportunities help students develop:

  • Leadership

  • Responsibility

  • Teamwork

  • Communication

  • Civic engagement

Our goal isn’t simply to track hours—it’s to recognize meaningful service and the positive impact volunteers have in their communities.

Community Service

Volunteer hours may be earned through participation in approved Locker League activities, including:

  • Equipment Drives

  • Equipment Sorting

  • Community Locker Restocking

  • Community Events

  • League Captain Meetings

  • Leadership Training

  • Approved Outreach Activities

Participation must be verified by an Adult Advisor.

Community Service Hours

One of the best parts of Locker League is that every chapter is encouraged to think creatively.

League Captains and volunteers are invited to develop new ideas that strengthen their chapter and serve more children.

We Love Big Ideas!

Ideas might include:

  • Partnering with local athletes or sports teams

  • Asking sporting goods stores to donate clearance or returned equipment

  • Hosting neighborhood sports tournaments or skills clinics

  • Organizing school equipment drives

  • Creating social media campaigns

  • Recruiting local businesses as sponsors

Great ideas often become national Locker League programs.
